What is FedFleet 2010?
The Federal Fleet Policy Council, GSA's Office of Governmentwide Policy, the Interagency Committee for Aviation Policy, and GSA Fleet are proud to host FedFleet 2010.

FedFleet 2010 will be held July 13 - 15 at the Phoenix Convention Center. The host hotels for this event are the Hyatt Regency Downtown and the Wyndham Phoenix.

FedFleet 2010 will include the GSA Automotive Federal Vehicle Standards breakout sessions and vendor presentations. The agenda also includes extensive Aviation Workshop sessions, an Interagency Committee on Aviation Policy meeting, and an all-day Basic Fleet Management class. This comprehensive collection of fleet management, automotive procurement and aircraft related educational sessions truly makes FedFleet 2010 a one-stop experience for Fleet and Aviation Management professionals.

What are the Federal Government Per Diem rates for Phoenix, AZ and which meals are covered by my registration?

The M&IE for Phoenix is $71.00 per day. The calculation for the first and last day of your travel is 75% of the $71.00 = $53.25. The conference lodging amount is $89.
On your travel voucher, you must adjust your M&IE rate for the meals provided to you at FedFleet 2010. You must deduct the appropriate amount for each meal provided during your attendance, whether or not you had those meals.

  • The value to be reduced for breakfast (provided Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday) is $12.00. (Also Sunday for those attending the Basic Fleet Class and Monday for those attending the Aviation training.)
  • The value to be reduced for lunch (provided Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday) is $18.00. (Also Sunday for those attending the Basic Fleet Class and Monday for those attending the Aviation training.)
  • The value to be reduced for dinner (provided Wednesday evening) is $36.00.
  • The Monday evening Welcome Reception will not provide dinner. You do NOT need to deduct from your daily per diem if you attend this event.

What does it cost to park at the Hyatt Regency and Whydam Phoenix?
Hyatt Regency:
Overnight Valet Parking - $27.00 per 24 hours
Short Term Valet Parking - $12.00 for the first hour, +$1.00 each additional hour. After 10 hours $27.00.
Overnight Self Parking via the Front Desk - $19.00 with in-out privileges, charged to your room.
Both are indoor covered garages with a clearance of 6 ft 3 in.
Valets DO NOT park oversized vehicles.

Wyndham Phoenix:
Valet Parking - $12 for an 8-hour period
Overnight Valet Parking - $23
Charges will be posted to your guest room.

How do I get to and from the airport and the Hyatt Regency Phoenix?

Do I need to rent a car?
The rental of a vehicle is at the discretion of your agency. All conference related activities are at the Phoenix Convention Center and the Hyatt Regency, located across the street. The Wyndham Phoenix is also within one block of the Convention Center, transportation will not be necessary. Bus transportation will be provided for all attendees to and from the off-site dinner activity on Wednesday evening.

If you need to rent a car for personal reasons, Enterprise Rent-A-Car is located inside the Hyatt for your convenience.

What is the Government gift acceptance policy?
Associates of the Executive Branch of the Federal Government are subject to the Office of Government Ethics (OGE) Standards of Ethical Conduct. Therefore, GSA wants to ensure that any gifts offered do not result in violations of the OGE regulations.
Federal Government associates subject to the OGE regulations may not accept a gift(s) with a market value of more than $20.00 from any single exhibitor during the span of the FedFleet 2010 event (not to exceed $50.00 from the same source in a calendar year). 

Promotional items, gifts, and exhibitor-sponsored events are considered gifts under the OGE regulations, as are food and drink (with the exception of modest items of food or refreshment such as soft drinks, coffee and donuts, offered other than as part of a meal).

How can I make sure my special needs will be accomodated at FedFleet 2010?
Any registrant requiring attention to special needs, including dietary restrictions, should include them when registering online. A FedFleet coordinator will contact you prior to the event to make the necessary arrangements. Please also inform the hotel of your special needs when making your hotel reservations.

Is there a dress code for FedFleet 2010?
The attire for all FedFleet 2010 events is business casual.  Recommendations include collared-shirts, slacks, and skirts.  Be sure to wear comfortable shoes.  A blazer or light sweater may be needed in the meeting rooms.

What is the FedFleet 2010 Cancellation Policy?
Attendee Cancellation Policy
Refunds for registration fees may be given if your cancellation request is received by A-S-K Associates, Inc. no later than May 3, 2010 at 5:00 p.m. CST. A $100 fee will be applied to all cancellations. No refunds will be given after that date. Attendee substitutions may be made provided a written release from the original registrant accompanies the substitution. There are no exceptions. Please contact Danielle Garcia at dgarcia@askusa.com. Exhibitor Terms and Cancellation Policy
A written notice of cancellation is required. Cancellations received on or before May 3, 2010 will be assessed a penalty of 25% of the total booth cost. No refunds for any reason will be made for cancellations received after May 3, 2010.

Are there refrigerators in guest rooms at the Hyatt Regency Phoenix ?
Refrigerators are not available in guest sleeping rooms at the Hyatt or the Wyndham. If you need a fridge in your room for medicinal purposes, please contact the hotel directly after you’ve made your reservation and they will accommodate your request.
